Version Information

The Version Information page is a read-only summary of which DocLock build you're running. It shows the current version, key build details, the versions of each module, and a timeline of recent releases. It's handy when you contact support or want to know what changed in the latest update.

Version Information page overview

How to open this page

From the left navigation menu, open About → Version.

  • Address: /about/version
  • Access required: Any signed-in user. No special permission is needed.

What you see on this page

The page has three parts:

  1. A version banner at the top with the current build and key facts.
  2. A Module Versions list on the left.
  3. A Recent Releases timeline on the right.

The current version banner

The large banner at the top highlights the version you're on:

  • The current version (for example DocLock v2.4.1).
  • The release date and build number (for example Released May 1, 2026 · Build #20260501-1142).
  • An "Up to date" badge confirming you're on the latest build.

Below this, four tiles show key build facts:

Module versions

The Module Versions panel lists each part of DocLock and its individual version, with a status tag:

  • stable (green) — production-ready.
  • beta (amber) — a preview feature still being finalized.
  • deprecated (red) — kept for compatibility but being phased out.

Modules shown include the Document Engine, Workflow Engine, Governance Module, ITSM Service Desk, AI Assistant (Beta), Mobile SDK, Legacy API Bridge, PDF Renderer, Notification Service, and Audit & Compliance.

Recent releases

The Recent Releases timeline on the right summarizes what changed in the latest updates. Each entry shows:

  • The version number (for example v2.4.1).
  • A release type tag — major, minor, or patch.
  • The release date.
  • A short list of highlights for that release.
Recent Releases timeline

The newest release sits at the top with a highlighted line. For example, v2.4.1 lists fixes for the PDF preview crash on large files and improvements to SAML SSO token refresh, while v2.4.0 added the Governance section with Archive & Retention management.

Tips

  • Quote the current version and build number when you raise a ticket on the Contact Support page — it helps the team reproduce your issue.
  • Watch the release type tags: patch releases are bug fixes and security updates, while minor releases usually add new features.
  • A beta tag on a module means the feature is a preview and may still change.
