Home & Global Experience
This section covers the parts of DocLock you use no matter which module you're working in — the personalized Home dashboard you land on after login, the global search box in the top bar, the notification bell, your profile and session controls, and the help that's available on every screen.
What's in this section

The top bar at a glance
Most of the global controls live in the top bar, which stays visible on every screen:
- DocLock logo — returns you to the Home dashboard.
- Search box — type and press Enter to run a global search.
- Help (question mark) — opens the page-aware help drawer.
- Notifications (bell) — shows unread alerts.
- Settings (gear) — switch between light/dark theme and language.
- Profile (your initials/name) — opens your profile page.
- Sign out — ends your session.
